Hey everyone! A couple of busy weeks have come and gone. We have fished Leech lake out of the Chase on the Lake Hotel 8 of the past 10 days. The fishing is PRIME. The past two days have brought multiple limits of eater size walleye and several GIANTS to the boat as well for a quick photo opportunity. Strategy for the LOA fishing guides have varied. Live bait rigging with smaller minnows and crawlers have been best for the under 18:" fish while Bigger baits have been top choice for the Over 26 inch fish. The fish are starting show themselves in their summer locations and the spinner crawler bite is taking off. 10-14ft rock shelves are holding numerous fish of various sizes. Play the wind and you will catch fish. The main lake bite is wind driven on shorelines but the rock bite seams to be good on any wind. Musky reports are quiet with a few fish being seen but not caught. A little warmer weather and they should be more cooperative. The perch bite is very strong and numerous fish have been taken. The end of June is one of the best times of year to be up on Leech for both size and numbers of fish. We have a few openings left before July hits, so come on board with us and "Get Hooked"! 855-LOA-HOOK |

Some friends and I went out on Leech Lake with Jeff and Toby on June 23rd and had a great day. Even a little and rain and wind could not deter us from having a blast. We caught some nice walleyes and learned a few great fishing tips for future trips to Leech and Chase on the Lake. Thanks guys for a great day.
